What the authors reported

Measuring ozone uptake during continuous countercurrent blood flow across a dialysis membrane ("ozone dialysis"), the authors report at least three times higher ozone uptake than other blood-ozone delivery methods, describing it as the first quantitative comparison of its kind.

What limits this result

Single-clinic measurement reported by the technique's own practitioner-developers rather than an independent or peer-replicated comparison; PubMed lists no study-design type, so "in vitro" is inferred; no patient outcomes are reported.

How ozone acts on blood and cells, how blood filters work, and studies that measure markers in the blood rather than how patients fare. None of these shows whether EBO2 helps patients. One study rarely settles a medical question; our guides weigh each paper against the rest of the evidence.
