Medical review

A "Medically reviewed by" line on an article means a licensed clinician read the full text, checked the clinical claims against the cited sources, and approved the wording. The line shows the reviewer's name, credentials, and the date of review. Articles without that line have been fact-checked by our editors but not yet clinically reviewed.

What review covers

• Accuracy of physiological and procedural descriptions.
• Whether the evidence level is stated fairly (study type, size, limitations).
• Safety information, contraindications, and when to seek care.
• Removal of implied efficacy or "cure" language not supported by the sources.

What review does not mean

Review is not an endorsement of EBO2, of any clinic in our directory, or of ozone therapy generally. Reviewers are compensated for their time at a flat rate that does not depend on what the article concludes.
