What the authors reported
A narrative review of how oxidative stress, antioxidant defenses, and hormesis (a low-dose stress producing a protective response) are theorized to shape biological aging.
What limits this result
A general biology-of-aging review with no mention of ozone or EBO2; describes hormesis as a broad concept, not evidence that any ozone procedure slows aging.
How ozone acts on blood and cells, how blood filters work, and studies that measure markers in the blood rather than how patients fare. None of these shows whether EBO2 helps patients. One study rarely settles a medical question; our guides weigh each paper against the rest of the evidence.
