# EBO2.com > Independent, sourced guide to EBO2 (also called EBOO, extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation): how the procedure works, what the peer-reviewed research does and does not show, what US clinics charge, safety and contraindications, tools and open data built from clinics' own pages, and a directory of US clinics offering it. Key facts: - EBO2 and EBOO are two names for the same procedure. Blood is drawn from one arm, passed through a hollow-fiber filter and an oxygen/ozone gas exchanger, and returned through the other arm, in sessions that clinics most often describe as roughly 60 to 90 minutes. - Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to treat any condition. FDA regulation 21 CFR 801.415 describes ozone as a toxic gas with no known useful medical application. - The EBOO-specific literature is small and largely from the technique's developers. No large independent randomized trial has been published. We annotate 78 studies, each with a page and a structured record of what it reports. - Among the 174 clinics whose EBO2 page we could read (read between September 28, 2026 and October 4, 2026), 40 publish a price for one session: from $750 to $2,500, median $1,500. Insurance does not cover it. - Of those 174 clinics, 163 name a health benefit on their EBO2 page; no EBO2 device or protocol is FDA-approved for any condition. - We hold 33 primary-source regulatory records, each with the exact language. - A clinic is listed when public sources or the clinic itself indicate it offers EBO2 or EBOO. "Verified" means we confirmed it on the clinic's own website on the date shown. Listings are free, and no clinic pays for placement. FDA wording and health-benefit statements on clinic pages are reported only in aggregate, never per clinic. ## Core pages - [What Is EBO2 (EBOO)?
